ABOUT LAURYN
Lauryn was born in 1983 in North Carolina, but has spent most of her life growing up in New Jersey, where she currently resides. Art has always been an integral part of life to her- she has been painting and drawing for as long as she can remember. She studied Visual Arts and graduated with a B.F.A. from the competitive Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 2005. She has exhibited in galleries in New York City and New Jersey.
Lauryn is proud to share the skills she has developed through two decades of professional art making experience with her wonderful Clients. Her pleasant, always cheery demeanor draws viewers to her live performances, which is bolstered by several years of experience as a professional actress and improviser. Onlookers are swept up into the journey of the artwork, as they watch layers of paint build, melt, and glaze into a dreamy reflection of their surroundings.
Lauryn’s heartfelt connection to the intimate and unseen moments and feelings of her subjects is why the importance of her role at a celebration is never lost on her- Lauryn is capturing cherished moments in her Clients’ lives that will transport them back to this moment in a way that photos and videos are unable.
